TheDream.US is the nation’s largest college access and success program for DREAMers—students who came to the US as children and have grown up in this country.
We’ve been honored to support TheDream.US since 2016. We initially partnered to help TheDream.US develop a refined organizational brand position and messaging to continue to inspire and drive DREAMers to apply for available scholarships during an incredibly contentious and uncertain political environment.
Together, we worked to tell a story of the organization’s beliefs and work that centered the young people they serve. The vision and opportunity of TheDream.US was most powerfully conveyed when it was seen and heard through the words of DREAMers and their families.
In addition to brand and story development, our team advised on the content strategy and design of TheDream.US’s new website, and developed a social, earned media, and digital advertising strategy to reach students and the influencers closest to them to increase awareness of the opportunity to apply for scholarships. That year’s applications DOUBLED, despite the challenges of the time.
Most recently, we partnered with TheDream.US on Home is Here.This employer program and toolkit equips business leaders with messages and tools to mobilize their company and peers to hire and retain DREAMers with work authorization who are ready—and legally able—to work. The urgency and importance of this work was reinforced as the Supreme Court ruled in favor of upholding DACA. Please reach out to TheDream.US and get involved.
